Our journey into candle-making started as a school holiday activity for a mother and teen daughter pair to hand-craft Christmas gifts for their friends. As we delve deeper into candle making, we quickly realise that not all things are made equal. For example, the quality of fragrance oils differs so vastly between different suppliers. We also found that a lot of commercial candle makers out there use paraffin wax in their candles. Companies can call their products soy candles, as long as it contains minimum 51% soy wax. It does not matter that 49% of the candle is made of paraffin wax :( 

Determined to do better, what began as a hobby soon turned into a quest to create a high quality, authentic and eco-friendly scented candle that is also aesthetically pleasing.

We only work with the best and finest in creating our products. Our fragrances are mainly sourced from an international, well known European fragrance house, one of the largest in the world. Our essential oils are imported from an established, renown Australian supplier. All our fragrances are phthalate-free and conforms to IFRA standards. Our natural, sustainably grown soy & coconut wax is imported from USA and our candle wicks are cotton-core and lead-free.

It took months of testing before we were satisfied with our end product and felt that it was ready for the market.
